Healthy Steak Dinner Meals – Seared Round Steak
Ingredients: Any size of a round steak, Kosher Salt, Black Pepper, 1/4th cup of olive oil, two tablespoons of vinegar (you can use apple cider), Red Chili Flakes, Oregano (dried), three cloves of garlic (crushed for more flavor), two tablespoons of butter, 2 Sprigs of rosemary.
Step 1 – Tenderize the tapered sides of the steak. Add salt and pepper.
Step 2 – In a bowl, add the olive oil, vinegar, chili flakes, oregano, and one clove of garlic (crushed). Mix this thoroughly and put the steak in that bowl. Cover it up with that mixture. Cover the bowl and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
Step 3 – Take the steak out from the bowl and pat it dry. Take a pan and put it on medium flame. Add oil to the pan. Put your steak in the pan for a total of 5 minutes. You will know it is done when both sides form a golden crust.
Step 4 – Reduce the flame and add the butter and two crushed cloves of garlic along with the rosemary. Once all the butter is melted, tilt your pan and let it slide to one side. You are keeping spreading that butter on your steak gradually while it cooks.
Step 5 – Once it is done, remove it from the pan and let it rest for about 10 minutes.
Step 6 – Slice the steak against the grain and return to skillet. Ready to Serve!
Healthy Steak Dinner Meals – Air Fryer Steak
Ingredients – 4 tablespoons of butter, two cloves of garlic, two teaspoons of parsley, one teaspoon of chives, one teaspoon of thyme, one teaspoon of rosemary, steak, kosher salt, and black pepper.
Step 1 – Take a bowl, add the butter. Make sure it is softened. Add all your herbs to the butter. Place a small piece of plastic wrap in the center and roll it. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
Step 2 – Season the steak generously with salt and pepper, on both sides of the steak.
Step 3 – Put the steak in the air fryer and cook it. It should be at 400 degrees and should cook for about 15 minutes for it to be medium. Flip the steak halfway. The time can be variable depending on how thick the steak is.
Step 4 – Take out the hardened butter from the refrigerator. Cut a slice and put in your steak. It is ready to serve!
You can garnish it with either cilantro or parsley.
